SNAIL KITES

This is a boat-based tour, where you will have the opportunity to photograph the endangered snail kite.  You will shoot from my customized pontoon.  For more information on the boat click here

We commonly see snail kites bringing nesting materials and snails back to their nests.  We strive to shoot in foraging areas, giving you a chance to photograph these unique raptors lifting snails from the water.

This tour is on a lake that supports several nesting pairs of snail kites.  

This tour also offers some great opportunities for other bird species such as Limpkin, Purple Gallinules, and Bald Eagles.

Full-day trips also are available (8 hours; morning and evening shoot)
